Do you see doom and gloom, or do you see opportunity?

If I’m honest, I see nothing but opportunity!

I see now as the time to get filthy rich… and I want to explain why (and how).

But first, some background.

We’ve had it good. We’ve had easy lending, we’ve had “stupid” self certification mortgages and credit that pretty much anyone could get…

Most people took advantage and it’s time to pay it back.

If you didn’t, or if you spent the money on stuff that didn’t make you money, then kick yourself and then read on… All is not lost.

Right now, there are bargains to be had. Stocks, shares, properties, even businesses!… ripe for the picking…

Harsh? Insensitive?

Possibly, but I don’t care.

This website and the list that you have subscribed to are all about making money, so this is what I will be talking about. If you don’t like it, then you can go and subscribe to other lists and let them promote useless ebooks and systems to you!

(Not sure where that rant came from, but it’s off my chest now!)

And now I come to the point of this post.

What you NEED to be doing with your money right now. One word:

Investing.

Not necessarily in the traditional sense of the word though. Let me explain…

When I first started online, I invested in some training, some products that I could sell and then TRAFFIC. It was one huge investment, most of which I did on a credit card.

So, when I say investing, I invested in training, something to sell and then people to sell it to – in the form of traffic.

And what a great investment that turned out to be!

But it doesn’t and it shouldn’t stop there…

You see, over the years I have seen many people make huge amounts of money, only to squander it, spend it, invest it badly or just screw it up and lose it!

And I’m talking six and seven figure a month businesses here.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve spent/wasted money in the past myself… I’ve just grown up a lot since then.

And what we do now is very powerful…

I still have my online businesses. I call this my “core business”. But, through this business I am now able to invest in other things – other money-making ventures and even new businesses.

So, what we have now is a business that makes me money. I take this money and invest in property for example. The monthly income that is generated is then invested into another venture or business to grow and grow.

They key here is that much of these income streams are passive. One investment that I started just last week only needed investment from my part. It’s already making £2,500 per month and I plan on doubling this and then doubling it again over the next 4 months.

So, if you haven’t already seen what’s going on:

1.) I make money online
2.) I invest in property through the income that I make online
3.) Profits from property are then reinvested in more property or other ventures…

Making money from the money that I’m making!

And because I make money just one of these ventures will be able to make £120k this year alone, just because I have the money to invest!

From JUST ONE income stream…

WOW!

And this is a completely passive income stream… and nothing to do with the core business.

Victoria and I have been seeing in the new year up in the Highlands of Scotland. Lots of walks, great food and a few drinks!

Anyway… enough of that. We’re already in 2012 and I wanted to let you know about some plans that I have for this site and for more frequent updates to my clients and customers this year.

You see, we’ve been busy working behind the scenes on a few projects… and that work is now done so it’s now time to reap the rewards…

For you as well as us!

Here’s the thing that most people just don’t appreciate.

They just don’t get it!

The Internet, Internet Marketing, Websites and all that good stuff is powerful. It’s leverage, all boxed up and ready-to-go. It’s money on tap, it’s automated. It’s making money in your sleep… It’s all that stuff that you’ve seen (apart from making money from the beach – I’ve never done that as I really don’t see the point in risking getting sand all over my laptop!!)…

But, here’s the thing…

Although it really is that good. It doesn’t start off this way!!

It takes work. It needs to be set-up. It is a business…

And today, I wanted to shout this from the rooftops… because I’ve been bottling this up.

No, you cannot simply push a button and have money flooding into your bank account in your first week online.

No, you cannot buy a system that will do this all for you. A money-printing system, or a cheque-writing system…

Sorry folks, it just doesn’t exist!

What the internet is all about is leverage. It is systems, automation and in one word – volume…

The internet allows you to communicate with hundreds or even thousands of people at once, to sell hundreds of products each and every day, yet not handle any of the products yourself.

This is what it is.

It is a business.

It is not a get rich quick scheme.

It is certainly NOT something that you can start this week and make thousands next week… but if you’re prepared to treat this like a business, albeit a business that you can run from your home or even from your sofa… then this works… and it can work in a very big way.

I’ve made money online every single day for the past 5 years now.

(Read the above sentence again. Until that sinks in. Every single day…)

So I know what I’m talking about when it comes to making money online, starting a REAL internet business and also showing people how to do this for themselves.

And I guess I’m just a little fed up with people not taking this seriously… Not being prepared to put any work in themselves and expecting this to just happen for them… almost overnight.

That’s not what the internet is about.

The advantage of a blog is that they are mostly interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and messages. Blogs are the ideal place to advertise products and promote offers, particularly related to your selected niche and drive traffic to your website.

General Online PR: Web based press releases are becoming increasingly popular for raising brand awareness and promoting your website, products and services to target
audiences. Online PR includes search engines, blogs, news search, forums, discussion threads, social networks and other online communication tools.

1) A professional-looking, up-to-date website gives you an immediate leg up with net-savvy consumers.
2) TARGET YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE!
3) Stay in touch with your customers as this is a powerful way to drive repeat traffic to your website(s). i.e. build a list!
4) Not every email you send needs to be a sales email – it can be a subtle and effective way to stay in touch with interested customers.
5) Avoid spamming at all costs! Used correctly, email marketing can turn one time customers into lifetime customers.

Right now, I’m in Florida for the Clickbank Masters Seminar. Shortly after, I’m flying onto LA and then Sydney to attend the World Internet Summit. I’m also squeezing in some personal Chris Cobb training sessions in between destinations…

And then the minute I return to the UK it’s straight back to organising the AIS Seminar, which I’m personally hosting in London…. it’s all about the seminars!!

Now then, goals and targets are the most important thing for 2011. It’s crucial to map out your strategy for the next 12 months…

Whether your goals are business orientated, personal or both… if you don’t have goals you are not aiming to achieve anything. If you have set goals and targets then you know exactly what you are striving for, you have a motivation and then you can reward yourself with each success.

Needless to say, I have already set my goals and targets. I find that the best way to set your goals is to envisage where you want to get to and how you intend to get there. Think about your ultimate aim. It never hurts to be ambitious for yourself; once your goals and targets are defined you have something clear and positive to work towards.

Don’t want to do it? Can’t be bothered? Think goal-setting is stupid?

Then, quite simply, you have no direction and you have nothing to strive for…

In short, you won’t achieve anything!!

This is how import goal-setting is… It is something that I have done for the last few years and will continue to do. AND, when I hit a goal, I will reward myself… and then set the next goal…

There are a few Key points which I always remember when I set my own goals and targets and they are worth you considering too: 

• Even if your goals change over time, it is very important that your ultimate target remains the same. You will get there eventually but you may take a different path to that which you first envisaged.
• Reaching your goals can bring many rewards, both financial and personal. Knowing what motivates you from the outset is a great motivational tool.
• Set your targets high, once you have the target in sight you will be amazed what you can achieve.
• Goals and targets are flexible, if it takes a little more time to reach them, so be it.
• I always aim to set myself between 3-5 goals per year. Although they need to be ambitious they also need to be achievable.

Push hard, stay focused and always be thinking ahead!

You see, I’m getting married soon and as you can imagine there’s plenty to plan and consider!

It’s not exactly a hard life to plan the wedding of Victoria’s dreams….. cake tasting, menu sampling and choosing our favourite champagnes and wines.

But, someone has to do it!!

Importantly, my online business and the fact that I only work 2-3 hours per week from home gives me both endless time and flexibility to easily incorporate all of the wedding planning. In between selecting our honeymoon destinations, I even find time to squeeze in a few rounds of golf each week with my Father in law to be! Although, not much golf recently!!

As we all know, weddings are expensive but thanks to my online business Victoria can have exactly what she wants – no question. My recent projects, like the monster “1k Commission System” have simply been storming sales… and we’re still making on average over $1k per day from ClickBank alone with all of our projects combined.

So, look out for some announcements in January – I’m going to be putting on some more training events for a select few students.
